ARC recovery is designed as a wellness estimate based on your own trends. It is not a medical assessment or a statement that you are safe to exercise.
Recovery is designed to compare current signals with your own recent history rather than treating one population average as your normal.
Inputs may include HRV trends, resting heart rate, sleep, recent activity, temperature deviation and historical baseline.
A lower recovery estimate can be a reason to look at sleep, recent training or routine changes. It is not a diagnosis of illness, overtraining or another condition.
A favorable recovery estimate does not rule out injury, illness or other reasons to rest. Use symptoms and professional advice where appropriate.
Regular wear and reasonably consistent measurement conditions make day-to-day comparisons easier to interpret.
Recovery is intended to support decisions about routine and training, not make those decisions automatically.
