Current target
Up to 14 days is the current design target for typical use, not a guaranteed production runtime.
Support · Using ARC
ARC is being designed for up to 14 days of typical use. That remains a design target until production hardware and firmware are validated.

Sensor sampling, sync frequency, firmware, battery age, environmental temperature and feature use can all change how long a charge lasts.
If runtime appears shorter than expected, compare behavior across several full use cycles before assuming a hardware fault. One unusually active or poorly connected day can consume more power.
High temperatures can accelerate lithium-ion battery aging. Store and charge ARC according to the production temperature guidance when that guidance is published.
Avoid leaving the device fully depleted for a long period. Production storage guidance will be published with the final hardware.
Rechargeable batteries naturally lose capacity over time. A gradual capacity decline is different from a sudden charging or hardware fault.
