Placement
Wear ARC slightly above the wrist bone rather than directly on top of it. Keep the sensor surface flat against the skin instead of letting the band rotate freely around the wrist.
Support · Getting started
Fit affects comfort and optical signal quality. ARC should stay in contact with the skin without feeling painfully tight.
Wear ARC slightly above the wrist bone rather than directly on top of it. Keep the sensor surface flat against the skin instead of letting the band rotate freely around the wrist.
Use enough tension to prevent obvious sliding during normal movement. Loosen the strap if you notice numbness, persistent pressure or discomfort.
More arm motion can make optical readings harder for any wrist wearable. A slightly more secure fit may improve contact during exercise, provided it remains comfortable.
Dry the band and skin after heavy sweating. Leaving moisture trapped against the skin for long periods can increase irritation.
You may move ARC to the other wrist if needed. Consistent placement can make personal trends easier to interpret, especially when comparing similar days.
Temporary light pressure marks can happen with snug wear, but pain, broken skin or persistent irritation is a reason to remove the device and let the skin recover.
